We are coming into a segment of the trip in which we will be
staying in a different hotel in a different city (or country) every night. We
arrived in Brisbane at around 6 pm on Wednesday and walked to the airport
hotel. There was enough light for me to go on a walk, although I was having to
walk through parking decks and in the grass alongside airport access roads. Nonetheless,
I saw my first Australian magpie and a black iguana dart across my path. We ate
a small dinner in the hotel bar and that was our day.
But looks like very civilized day with a glass of wine as your reward!
