The Crab
Bridge was our first must-see-again. There were even more crabs marching
towards the ocean than yesterday. But for the swarms of mosquitos attacking any
bare skin, we could have stayed at the Crab Bridge for hours. We went to the
airport to check in at 1:15, then returned to the Blowholes to relax until our
return to the airport at 3:00 pm. The increased number of crabs coming out of
their burrows across the island meant that the game of “Leaf or Crab” was more
difficult. It was like I had leveled up in the game without leveling up in my
skill set. If am ever back during full migration, I will not be driving a car.

Tonga has blowholes like you describe. Very cool! Sounds like a great last day on Christmas Island
ReplyDeleteDad and I saw the Tonga blowholes when we were visiting Tonga Eli over 20 years ago.
